The People’s Music School

Student Requirements

 Returning students, provided they complete all of their requirements, do not have to stand in line to register at the beginning of each session. In order to maintain that privilege, each student is asked to commit to the following each session:

·  Demonstrate development in his/her musical studies.

· Attend weekly music theory classes.

· Attend weekly group or private instrument lessons.

· Participate in Juries.

· Complete volunteer hours (8 per session, 4 in summer).

· Participate in end of session student concert and rehearsals.

· Attend 2 People’s Music School concerts.

· Participate in fundraising (1 per session).

· Adhere to attendance policy.

· Keep his/her membership card current.
